The program

This Industrial Design program from  Kansas State University is exceptionally diverse with a combination of studies focused on products for the built environment. With an innovative curriculum that combines two complementary fields of industrial design, furniture design and entrepreneurship, our students are prepared to transform society.

The College of Architecture, Planning and Design’s first-year curriculum for all students explores the design and planning professions while directly engaging in design work that provides a strong foundation for your design education. For most students, it is an introduction to a new way of seeing and thinking about the environments we occupy
